Introdution<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the South, we will discover the Abyssinian Rift Vally surrounded by immense mountains and deep cracks and canyons produced by the slow volcanic rock erosion, which has greatly hampered access to the Omo River delta for decades. This physical difficulty to access this region has allowed the tribes that inhabit the Omo Valley to have been isolated not only from the rest of Ethiopia but from the rest of the world, thus offering a unique experience for the traveler.
We will also visit the Awash National Park where we can enjoy its lakes and waterfalls. The city of Harar, a World Heritage Site and fourth holy city of Islam, will surprise us with its colorful historical center and its markets.<\/em><\/p>\n

Itinerary<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Day 1.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Arrive in Addis Ababa. Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Have a city tour of Addis That includes: Museums, Monuments, Churches, Market and Mount Entoto for the panoramic view of the city.
O\/N the same hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 3.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Drive Addis Abeba to Arbaminch. On the way visit the Tiya Stele and different tribal villages who are known for their cultivation of Enset of False Banana & visit the villages of the Dorze people who are famous for their huge huts and colorful hand woven cotton clothes. (460km).

Day 4.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Have a boat ride on the Rift Valley Lake of Chamo to visit the \u2018Crocodile Market\u2019 where you can see big African Crocodiles, hippos, and low land water birds. (2-3hrs) After Picnic lunch drive to Konso & Visit \u201cNew York\u201d village, the Konsos are famous by thier t\u00f3tems & making teraz to protect thier lad.

Day 5.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Drive to Key Afer and visit the people of Ari, Benna and Tsemai trbal villages. (Visiting the most colorful multicultural market in the Omo Valley at Key Afer if the day is thursday \u2013 which is attended by the tribal groups of Ari, Benna, and Tsemai,) Then drive to Jinka.

Day 6.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After breakfast, drive to Mursi village crossing Mago National Park. Visit the Mursi tribe in their village who are typically known for the clay lip plates of the women. Drive back to Jinka . After lunch drive to Turmi.

Day 7.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Excursion to Omorate to visit the Dasenech people who are the southern most known people of the country and are known for their scarifications. Drive back to Turmi & after lunch visit the Hammer village.

Drive Turmi to Yabelo . Visit the Borena tribal villages & the famous singing well.

Drive to Awassa, on our route we visiting the Sidama village and people.

Early in the morning Visit Lake Awasa & it\u2019s Fish Market and You will also visit the chains of Rift Valley Lakes on your way to Awash national park, Lake Ziway,Langano & lake Beseka.

Sightseeing in the Awash national park that includes to visit the water sprigs and animals. O\/N at the same Lodge near to the cascades of Awash river.<\/p>\n

Early in the morning drive to Harar and on the route we will visit the people of Afar, Isa, Somal & Oromo. Arival at Harar and O\/N Hotel.<\/p>\n

Day 13.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sightseeing of Harar medieval walled town; the most significant settlement in the Far East of the country is the walled city of Harar, which more or less took its present shape in the 15th century. Harar is regarded as the spiritual home of Ethiopia\u2019s large and ancient Muslim community. Harar is a world heritage city by Unesco.

En el Sur, descubriremos el Rift Abisinio rodeado por inmensas monta\u00f1as y profunda grietas y ca\u00f1ones producidos por la lenta erosi\u00f3n de la roca volc\u00e1nica, lo que ha dificultado enormemente el acceso al delta del r\u00edo Omo durante d\u00e9cadas. Esta dificultad f\u00edsica para acceder a esta regi\u00f3n ha permitido que las tribus que habitan el Valle del Omo hayan estado aisladas no solo del resto de Etiop\u00eda sino del resto del mundo ofreciendo as\u00ed una experiencia \u00fanica para el viajero. Visitaremos tambi\u00e9n el parque nacional de Awash donde podremos disfrutar de sus lagos y cataratas. La ciudad de Harar, Patrimonio de la Humanidad y cuarta ciudad santa del Islam nos sorprender\u00e1 con su colorido casco hist\u00f3rico y sus mercados

Llegada a\u00a0<\/span>Addis Abeba<\/strong>, Llegada al Aeropuerto de Addis Abeba. Recepci\u00f3n en el aeropuerto por el gu\u00eda de Karibu y traslado al hotel.<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 2.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Seguimos con visitas a Addis Abeba. Addis Abeba tiene unos 4.000.000 habitantes. El nombre proviene del am\u00e1rico y significa \u201cflor nueva\u201d. Fue fundada en 1887 por Menelik II en la falda del monte Entoto y es una de las capitales m\u00e1s altas del planeta (2.500m). Sin ser una gran ciudad, en el sentido occidental del t\u00e9rmino, ofrece lugares muy singulares: Piazza, barrio colonial de los italianos, el mercado de Merkato, uno de los m\u00e1s grandes de \u00c1frica o el Museo Nacional, donde est\u00e1 la r\u00e9plica de Lucy, abuela de la Humanidad. Dependiendo de la hora de llegada del vuelo, haremos las visitas que podamos. El resto las cubriremos en siguientes estancias en la capital.<\/p>\n

Dia 3.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Addis Abeba \u2013 Arba Minch. Salida temprano hacia el sur \u00e9tnico y multicultural. Seguimos el viaje visitando a aldeas del pueblo Dorze, reconocibles por sus casas de bamb\u00fa en forma de elefante y sus muy elaborados tejidos, famosos en todo el pa\u00eds. Llegada a Arba Minch.<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 4.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Arba Minch \u2013 Lago Chamo- Konso. Navegamos por el lago Chamo en barcaza para ver hipop\u00f3tamos y enormes cocodrilos. El parque Netch Sar fue creado para preservar el swayne, una rara especie de ant\u00edlope. Tambi\u00e9n habitan cebras, gacelas, kudus y leopardos. Hay catalogadas 89 especies de mam\u00edferos y 343 de aves. Tras el almuerzo seguimos la ruta hacia Konso. Desde hace siglos, los Konso cultivan \u00e1rboles frutales, sorgo, ma\u00edz y algod\u00f3n en terrazas, lo que da car\u00e1cter propio al paisaje. Recolectan una excelente miel de acacia. Haremos una marcha por sus aldeas, casi siempre en lo alto de una colina y rodeadas por un muro bastante alto. Con \u00e9l protegen los cultivos, el ganado y las casas, \u00e9stas agrupadas por familias-clanes. Son muy interesantes los t\u00f3tems que erigen en memoria de sus difuntos.

D\u00eda 5.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Konso - Key Afer-Jinka. Viaje hasta Jinka para ver su mercado. Tambi\u00e9n conoceremos algunas de las etnias de la regi\u00f3n (Ari, Bana y Tsemay) en el Mercado de Key Afer si nuestra llegada coincide con el d\u00eda mercado (jueves).<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 6.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Jinka \u2013 Mursi - Turmi. Cruzamos el r\u00edo Mago hasta las tierras altas para visitar las aldeas de los Mursi. Practican una agricultura de subsistencia y tienen grandes reba\u00f1os de vacuno, de los que en ocasiones beben su sangre. Se organizan por clanes y los hombres de m\u00e1s edad (Jalaba) tienen la \u00faltima palabra. Las mujeres se insertan platillos de madera o cer\u00e1mica en el labio inferior. Los hombres se tat\u00faan dibujos geom\u00e9tricos de color blanco en el cuerpo. Es una de las etnias m\u00e1s fotografiadas del mundo. Volvemos a Jinka y despu\u00e9s del almuerzo seguimos el viaje hasta Turmi.<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 7.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Turmi \u2013 Omorate \u2013Turmi. Salimos en ruta por el valle del r\u00edo Omo para visitar a los Dasenech (o Geleb), que viven en las riberas. Son antiguos pastores n\u00f3madas (sus chozas recuerdan a esa \u00e9poca) que se han ido sedentarizando. Dependiendo del d\u00eda de la semana, visitamos el mercado de Turmi o el Dimeka. El objetivo es conocer a los Hammer una de las etnias m\u00e1s interesantes de la regi\u00f3n. Vienen a intercambiar sus productos (miel, caza, vegetales, frutas).<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 8.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Turmi \u2013 Dimeka \u2013 Konso - Yabelo. Viaje hasta la regi\u00f3n de los Konso. Por el camino haremos paradas y visitas a poblaciones locales (etnias Erbore y Tsemay). Salida hacia la regi\u00f3n de Yabello. En el camino, visita a los famosos \u201cpozos cantores\u201d y a los Borena.<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 9.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Yabelo- Awasa. Por la ma\u00f1ana saldremos hacia Awasa para conocer su espl\u00e9ndido lago. Tambi\u00e9n forma parte de la cadena de lagos del Gran Rift y como en casi todos ellos acoge numerosas especies de aves. Mide unos 52 km de circunferencia y tiene unos 21 m de profundidad.<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 10.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Por la ma\u00f1ana visitamos el mercado de pescado y seguimos nuestro viaje por carretera hasta el Parque Nacional de Awash con visita a los lagos Langano, Ziway y Beseka todos de origen volc\u00e1nico. Llegada a Awash alojamiento frente de las cascadas del r\u00edo Awash<\/p>\n

Durante el d\u00eda daremos un paseo por el Parque, visitamos las aguas termales y los animales que lo habitan.<\/p>\n

Por la ma\u00f1ana traslado por carretera hac\u00eda Harar. Por el camino visitaremos los poblados de los Afar, Isa, Somali y Oromo. Llegada a Harar.<\/p>\n

D\u00eda 13.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Visitamos Harar. Es una ciudad medieval amurallada en el este del pa\u00eds con cinco puertas. Es la capital de la Regi\u00f3n de Harari. Se sit\u00faa en la cima de una colina, en la zona oriental del altiplano et\u00edope. Harar fue declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 2006. Se le considera \"la cuarta ciudad santa del Islam\" con 82 mezquitas, tres de las cuales datan del siglo X.<\/p>\n

Harar -Dire Dawa- Addis. Traslado hasta el aeropuerto de Dire Dawa y vuelo Addis Abeba Recepci\u00f3n en el aeropuerto. \u00daltimas visitas, compras, relax y cena de despedida en un restaurante con m\u00fasica folcl\u00f3rica.<\/p>\n
